There are no fixed dates for this training. It's usually possible to train at very short notice.
A PWC is one of the most tempting motorized toys. You just want to go faster, through sharper turns and over higher waves.
But with all that fun comes responsibility: Without brakes but with the weight of a motorbike you need to be in full control all the time!
After successful completion of this one-day course you will be rewarded with the RYA Personal Water Craft Proficiency Certificate. With this certificate you can use the watertoys on most MCA coded megayachts, or rent a ski at a sunny beach!
We love a challenge, so we teach with the Yamaha SuperJet: not a sitdown scooter, but a full blown stand-up racing machine! A good sense of humor is needed, especially in the beginnings. But you will never forget your first succesfull high-speed turn. (to issue the PWCP certificate, you do not have to stand up, the course can be completed while kneeling down) Nearly everyone is able to stand-up at the end of the day.
The small print:
- This certificate is NOT valid in The Netherlands. You will still need an ICC or "Klein Vaarbewijs" or a Yachtmaster Coastal or Offshore certificate of competence.
- To operate a fast craft in The Netherlands, you need to be over 18 years old. (we can teach from 16, since we operate on a private beach)
